The Town of Kimball will not be having the Kimball Fireworks Festival this year (2008). The Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted during a regular monthly board meeting to use the funds for the festival toward the progress on the Kimball Park to work on adding some amenities that were discussed during the Strategic Workshop held on February 21, 2008.

Christmas

The town participates in the local parades and in 2005 the town had open house at town hall during the December month. The town has a Christmas dinner for all the employees, board members and committee members and their families.
